It’s been a moment since a high fashion male form editorial has been this gripping. Steven Klein has been busy with on average five campaigns a season and for obvious reasons they are more tame, so it was really refreshing to see Mert & Marcus bring to life American Hustle for Interview magazine. The editorial, styled by Karl Templer, brings to life the seedy underworld of the male gigolo penned by the publication as “Leather, denim, skin: ’70s classics mix with ’80s decadence and overt sexuality”. It features leading boys Chad White, Brian Shimansky, Jamie Wise and Veit Couturier.
